As Black Friday approaches, I'm excited to announce that we'll be doing something a little different this year.
For every swimsuit order made on the More Than Swim UK website during the 19th - 26th November, we'll be donating £10 to Ecologi's Blue carbon removal projects. If we can make at least 5x sales we'll cover the cost of removing 1 ton of carbon from the ocean!
What are Blue carbon removal projects?
Blue carbon removal projects focus on protecting and restoring coastal ecosystems like mangrove forests and seagrass meadows.
These ecosystems play a vital role in absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, making them crucial allies in the fight against climate change.
Making a positive impact 🌊
We'll be locking away carbon in coastal and marine habitats, and supports biodiversity. These projects provide habitat for many threatened species, as well as boosting the ecosystem services that are provided to local communities.
